SBIR Contract Pushes Boundaries of Intelligence Software Capabilities
Discovery Machine to work with Penn State Applied Research Laboratory to develop human decision support tool.
Discovery Machine has recently been awarded with a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Contract that will allow the company to expand the applications of their knowledge capture methodology and technology. Anna Griffith, CEO of Discovery Machine, stated, “This is a great opportunity for Discovery Machine to once again expand the use of our technology.”
The SBIR program, established by Congress in 1982, strives to increase technological advances among small business. The SBIR program is a comprehensive and intensive evaluation of each company’s proposal. The domain for this particular SBIR Contract is human systems integration costing. The objective is to develop a decision support tool that has the ability to aid decision makers in the assessment of human systems integration.
Now, Discovery Machine once again will be given the opportunity to expand the applications of their software. For this SBIR, Discovery Machine will be working alongside the Penn State Applied Research Laboratory (ARL). Working with Penn State ARL will allow Discovery Machine to further expand the general applications of their software.
